Ian Brand has served as a pioneer in elevating the wine culture in the Monterey area of California. He puts many miles on his truck, year after year, as he explores the historic vineyard sites and consults with owners on how to improve farming sustainability. He has breathed new life into the Central Coast and continues to connect winemakers from all over the state to special sites in the area. His winery, located in Salinas, houses his three labels: P’tit Paysan, La Marea and I. Brand and Family.

Orchard Lane

Marlborough Marlborough | NEW ZEALAND

The Orchard Lane winery lies down a long quiet lane in the heart of the Marlborough wine growing region. In an area once surrounded by apple orchards only one gnarled row remains, providing fresh apples to our winemakers over harvest. Orchard Lane is the little sister brand of Sugar Loaf Wines, a great little family wine company in the heart of the Marlborough wine-growing region with 21 hectares of vines and our own custom built production winery.

Meteor Vineyards

Napa Valley California | United States

Meteor Vineyard is the confluence of an extraordinary Cabernet vineyard in the southeast corner of Napa Valley, the entrepreneurial vision of internet pioneer Barry Schuler, the viticulture history and expertise of Mike Wolf and the consummate winemaking talents of Bill and Dawnine Dyer. Located on a knoll in Napa Valley’s Coombsville appellation, our unique combination of elevation, aspect and stony, rich volcanic soil produces some of Napa Valley’s most distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon. We produce just two wines, both all estate and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Additionally, as our wines are made for the long term, we keep a complete library going back to the inaugural 2005.

Illahe Vineyards

A.V.A. Willamette Valley
Oregon | UNITED STATES
ILLAHE, pronounced Ill-Uh-Hee, is a local Chinook word meaning “earth” or “place” or “soil” At Illahe, our goal is to make wine as naturally as possible from soil to bottle. We work by hand on small lots with age-old techniques and materials. Our focus is to grow and make quality Pinot Noir and white wines that express the vintage and their varietal characteristics. We don't use enzymes or additives. Some of our wines are made entirely by hand, with no electricity or modern mechanization. We use a gentle wooden basket press and age our Pinot Noir in French and Oregon oak.

Remirez de Ganuza

D.O.Ca. Rioja Alavesa
La Rioja | SPAIN

Established in 1989, Bodegas Remírez de Ganuza, sprang from a personal bet made by its founder, Fernando Remírez de Ganuza. From the outset the idea has been the same: to ensure a rigorous grape sorting process and then minimal interference in the preparation of the wine. In this way we can be as true as possible both to the vintage and the vineyard.
