In 1997, Florentino Arzuaga landed at Toledo interested in the olive oil world, in particular for the variety Carnicabra, which in Montes de Toledo area reach its highest expression. After buying 150 Hectares of land he started making olive oil. Searching for new land to give more character and personality to the oil, he found ideal land for plantation, but not for olive but vines. This is Finca La Solana, a one piece estate, where the cellar is located surrounded by vineyards for the making of Pago Florentino.

At Illahe, our goal is to make wine as naturally as possible from soil to bottle. We work by hand on small lots with age-old techniques and materials. Our focus is to grow and make quality Pinot Noir and white wines that express the vintage and their varietal characteristics. We don’t use enzymes or additives. Some of our wines are made entirely by hand, with no electricity or modern mechanization. We use a gentle wooden basket press and age our Pinot Noir in French and Oregon oak.

Meteor Vineyard is the confluence of an extraordinary Cabernet vineyard in the southeast corner of Napa Valley, the entrepreneurial vision of internet pioneer Barry Schuler, the viticulture history and expertise of Mike Wolf and the consummate winemaking talents of Bill and Dawnine Dyer. Located on a knoll in Napa Valley’s Coombsville appellation, our unique combination of elevation, aspect and stony, rich volcanic soil produces some of Napa Valley’s most distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon. We produce just two wines, both all estate and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Additionally, as our wines are made for the long term, we keep a complete library going back to the inaugural 2005.

Since Tarapaca was founded at the foothills of the Andes mountain range in 1874, we have crafted elegant, quality wines, becoming one of the most traditional and historical Chilean wineries, as well as a benchmark for viticulture in Chile and over 50 countries.
Our winery is located in Isla de Maipo, which is considered as the finest and most traditional area for the production of fine wines in Chile. The Estate is comprised of 2,600 hectares, of which 611 are planted with vineyards. It is a unique place surrounded by mountains and the river Maipo. For this reason, the El Rosario Estate is known as “Maipo Valley’s Natural Clos”.
At Viña Tarapaca, we call it the “Natural Clos”, because our vineyard is surrounded by natural barriers which give origin to unique wines of exceptional quality.
